Valves

There are many types of valves that are all designed for different purposes. It is very important to make sure to choose the correct type of valve as well as the correct size in every situation. The most common types of valves we sell are ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, check valves and control valves (pressure reducing, sustaining and relief). These valves are all manufactured with different materials including brass, iron, plastic, nylon and steel. Knowing which type of material and valve to use in every situation is very important for system hydraulics and longevity.

All of our valve and valve manifold designs include the recommended specific type of valve to do the job. Whether it is a pressure reducing, sustaining or relief valve, all control valves have a certain operating flow range and must be sized correctly in order for the valve to function properly. These valves can be 2-way (open/close) or 3-way (open/close/auto) and operated with a solenoid and/or pilot. These valves have the flexibility to fully open or close, as well as regulate upstream and downstream pressures and flows. Check out the images below or the valve section on our product page to see the valves we carry.
