Michael Meyer
General ManagerMichael has been working in the Ag industry since 2013 and started his career with CWS in 2016. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Agricultural Systems Management and minors in Ag Business and Water Science. After working for Terry Farms and Southland Sod Farms for just about 6 months each, he began his career at CWS. He can provide knowledge and assistance in all aspects of irrigation design for any type of manual system to full irrigation and fertilizer injection automation.
Efrain Vargas
Business Development ManagerEfrain has been working in the Ag Irrigation industry since 2006 and is a skilled designer and troubleshooting problem solver. Jeff Hirashima
Project DesignerJeff comes from a family of strawberry farmers. His Grandparents started in LA county during the 1930’s and moved to Oxnard in 1969. Jeff grew up on the strawberry field where his parents reside today. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Agricultural Systems Management and a Minor of Water Science. After working for the NRCS, Jeff was hired on by CWS as a designer in 2017. His designs reflect his in-field experience and Irrigation education from Cal Poly.
Jake Williams
Project DesignerAfter graduating from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in BioResource and Agricultural Engineering, Jake worked as an Irrigation Engineer for Cal Poly’s Irrigation Training and Research Center (ITRC). After moving back to Thousand Oaks, he was hired on by CWS as a designer in 2019. He uses his engineering experience to provide solutions to unique customer needs when designing, troubleshooting or providing technical support.
Miguel Medina
Lead Field TechnicianAfter he graduated from Cal State Channel Islands in 2015, Miguel was hired on by CWS to specialize in filtration and Ag. irrigation technologies. He has exceptional hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing and installing irrigation equipment and automation systems. His product knowledgeability and in-field experience allow him to provide customers with quick and reliable solutions. Miguel also helps with system design, maintenance and start-ups. Hablo Espanol.
Maiqui Escobar
WarehousemanMaiqui has been working in the Ag industry since 2007 and started his career with CWS in 2018. Maiqui is our main driver and also performs warehouse functions such as shipping and receiving. He is the man responsible for getting deliveries out to the right place at the right time! Tony Rubio
WarehousemanTony has been a part of the Coast Water Solutions team since 2020. He was born and raised in Santa Paula, the Citrus Capital of the world. He worked for the Limoneira Company for over three years, obtaining a strong understanding of the agriculture industry and its irrigation requirements. Since then, he has worked in the pipe fitting industry for several years with a deep involvement in warehouse logistics and special orders. Zack Anderson
Field TechnicianBorn and raised in Ventura, Zack has a tech background with industry leading technology in the sports broadcast network. He has dealt with on-site and remote operation, engineering and installation support. Since joining the CWS team in September, 2021, he has been applying his experience to help streamline our automation design, installation and monitoring division.
